With the GSL in flux, I haven’t talked much about Raiders Guild, the upcoming line of 4E support products from Axe Initiative Games. Now that positive resolution of the licensing issues seems to be on the horizon, Raiders Guild is picking up steam. Axe Initiative, a sister company to Pelgrane Press, is now looking for writers to design Raiders Guild adventures. Writer's guidelines are available here, on the blog of Axe Initiative spearhead Sasha Bilton.
In a nutshell, Raiders Guild provides an ongoing campaign framework DMs can import into any setting, published or homebrew. It describes a heroic organization of dungeon delvers for the PCs to belong to, and a set of enemies—the corrupt, tyrannical, information-stealing Archivists—for them to fight against. Raiders Guild adventures follow a distinctive structure and always feature moments in which the PCs have an informational edge going into the dungeon.
Some great designers have shown interest in contributing to the line. If you want to be among them, get thee to the writers guidelines.
Sasha is also looking for a layout template designer. We have some amazing illustrators already on the roster, including concept work from the mighty Dave Allsop, but if you have a portfolio to point Sasha at, that can't hurt either.
